A structured, stress-free introduction to driving.
The Safe Start Package focuses on hands-on instruction inspired by law enforcement training. This package includes three two hour lessons totaling in 6 hours of training and is designed for students who have less than 30 hours of driving experience.
Students will be picked up and dropped off by their instructor at a location that is convenient for you. All lessons will take place in our vehicles that are equipped with a dual dash camera, extra mirrors and a passenger side brake. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate of completion for potential insurance discounts.

First Lesson
Tier 1: (Foundations / Essential Skills / Launch) – For students with less than 30 hours of driving experience
A structured, stress-free introduction to driving.
This course is designed by law enforcement officers for the brand-new driver who needs guided experience from day one. Students begin in a controlled parking lot environment where they learn:
Vehicle controls & setup
Parking
Smooth acceleration and braking
Steering fundamentals
Turning & lane positioning
Introduction to early hazard recognition
Basic road safety
Neighborhood/ side streets
Introduction to main roads and major intersections
Second Lesson
Tier 2: (Main Roads / Interstate / Identify and Respond to Threats)
Move beyond basics and develop a Proactive Tactical Driving mindset
This course is designed by law enforcement officers for the new driver who needs guided experience but has more than 20 hours of driving experience. Students begin immediately on main roads where they are trained in the following:
Navigating large intersections
Scanning intersections and identifying threats.
How to respond to threats when they are presented
Identifying hazards before they happen
Identifying and addressing distracted and drunk driving
Merging
Interstate driving
Downtown Kansas City highways
Third Lesson
Tier 3: Independent Driving Preparation
This two-hour lesson combines Missouri driving exam preparation with a final opportunity to refine the skills your student needs before driving independently.
We practice test maneuvers, including parallel parking and uphill and downhill parking, while revisiting areas that need more attention. Your instructor tailors the lesson to your student’s progress, helping strengthen consistency and address remaining challenges before they head out on their own.
